Bennett J. Oberg, D.O., is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.  He is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons. Dr. Oberg provides medical and surgical eye care for patients of all ages.

Dr. Oberg is a native of Liberty, Utah. He attended Weber State University and then attended medical school at Touro University in Henderson, Nevada.  Dr. Oberg received his ophthalmology and surgical training at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD. Dr. Oberg served during Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom and considers it one of the greatest honors to have cared for and served the injured Soldiers, Marines, Sailors and Airmen of the United States Military.

Following his training, Dr. Oberg was selected as Chief of Ophthalmology and Director of the Warfighter Refractive Eye Surgery Program at General Leonard Wood Army Community Hospital. There he served honorably on active duty for four years as an ophthalmologist. During that time he was selected to participate in international humanitarian eye surgery missions sponsored by the Department of Defense.  On these international mission Dr. Oberg both performed eye surgery and taught surgical techniques to other ophthalmologists and residents.  During his time in the military Dr. Oberg worked all over the country and internationally to build his experience as an ophthalmologist.

Dr. Oberg and his wife Becka have two boys and two girls. Dr. Oberg enjoys mountain biking, fly fishing and anything outdoors especially it it involves his children.
